Porsches and Pours - Highland Valley Vineyards

Come and meet new friends and join us for a Sunday Funday wine tasting luncheon! In our ongoing quest to introduce you to some of the best San Diego County wineries, we'll visit the Highland Valley Wine Appellation in North County. Believe it or not, grapes have been grown in this valley for over one hundred years. As a nod to that long history, Highland Valley Vineyards named their vineyard/winery as such and built their winery in the 1920's craftsman-style design.
As passionate grape farmers and winemakers, Ray Schnorr and Jeannine O'Brien blend old craft (sustainable farming techniques) with new technologies to create wines of character and distinction. Highland Valley Vineyards is a boutique micro winery perched on the edge of the beautiful Highland Valley and San Pasqual Valley. On these hillside vineyards, they grow Bordeaux variety grapes. Together with other carefully selected fruit, they style robust red wines and premium white wines.
Highland Valley Vineyards is one of San Diego's most award-winning wineries. We will have a special parking area reserved for our group. Please note that this is a compacted gravel parking lot.

Lunch will be catered by Trupiano's Italian Bistro of Fallbrook:
- Charcuterie boards
- Artisanal hand-tossed pizzas (three varieties to choose from)
- Warm butternut squash bruschetta & warm spinach & artichoke bruschetta
- Caesar & Greek salads

This is a small, family owned winery, so registration is limited to the first 30 guests only. Deadline for registration is October 3rd.
